Since June 2001, the Life Guards at Girgaum Chowpatty have been maintaining vigil during monsoon season between the Complex and Marine Drive Fly Over. This watch was commenced keeping in mind the equipment available ; training of the Life Guards and the high fatality rate existing prior to the commencement of the monsoon rescue watch.
Over time these Life Guards have saved 36 lives and have acquired the nick name of " The Red Devils"
ROTARY CLUB: This organization is more then 100 years old and has over 11 Lakh members world wide. It's the largest Charitable Organization in the world.
Project at H2O: In February 2003 , the complex was closed for commercial operations and played host to over 650 physically and mentally handicapped children. These children arrived from all over Mumbai and spend the entire day at the complex. The ability of a child on a wheel chair to be taken for a boat ride using the walkway and the jetty is a testimony to the management's resolve to ensure that if one desires to enjoy water related adventure or leisure activities then the complex is positioned to ensure that the person can do so irrespective of physical or mental ability.
RAJASTHANI MAHILA MANDAL: They run 2 municipal schools for the underprivileged children, namely- Adarsh Vidyalaya 1 & 2. These schools are aided partly by the Municipal Corporation and subsidized by the Mandal in a big way. The students are of the lower income group, particularly school 2 has students from absolutely weak economic class and are hence admitted free of cost or on scholarship basis.
Project at H2O: They brought 250 children from their schools for a free motor boat ride at our complex. These rides were given free of cost, We also provided snacks and refreshments for these children.
GIANTS GROUP OF MAHALAKSHMI: This Organization is affiliated to Giants International, let by the Ex. Major of Mumbai, Mr. Nana Chudasama. This organization does social service for the community by carrying out medical, educational, value based National Integration projects particularly for the benefit of the under privileged.
Project at H2O:'Operation Sangam', a project along with the Indian Army wherein 70 underprivileged children from Kashmir were brought to Mumbai to promote Nation Integration. Free Motor Boat rides were given to these children.
