To ensure safety of the many visitors, the complex has 28 walkie talkies. This allows the operations in-charge to keep in continuous contact with not only the rescue vessel, but all the boats [Our rescue vessel, which is permanently stationed mid sea during operational hours]. The concept of having a rescue vessel mid sea reduces the time required to reach any vessel which may develop snags or any user who might have fallen in the sea while carrying out activities like wind sailing, water skiing or jet skiing.
This process and procedures provides "immense comfort" to the user.Till 31st January 2006 we have
handled over 10 lakh people without a single injury or mishap at Girgaum Chowpatty.
Trained PersonnelEach operations personnel is a certified Life Guard and possesses a Power Boat Handling certificate. Each of them have to compulsory go-through a refresher course and have to meet the strict criteria laid down by N.I.W.S every year. During each course they are further trained in new life saving techniques, as deemed required by N.I.W.S. Faculty of N.I.W.S. audit the safety procedures at the Girgaum Chowpatty and Baina Beach , Goa on an annual basis.

Operations Procedures
- No user is allowed to operate a boat without a license issued by H2O. All rides are in control of the operations members. (Except for jet skis wherein the management after reviewing the user capability allows the user to ride the jet ski )
- Wearing of Life Vest is mandatory from the Walkway onwards. No user [ irrespective of age ] is allowed to use any facility without a Life Vest. The complex has over a 1,500 life jackets.
- Smoking is prohibited and strictly enforced from the walkway onwards.
- All cruises after sunset have to compulsory carry a communication set.
- The operators and the operations in charge have the full authority and liberty to refuse any passenger who might be a risk/ at risk. They also have the full authority and the backing of the Management to suspend the activity if in their opinion the sea is turbulent and/or the conditions may be dangerous for water sports activity.
Vessels and EquipmentThe complex has an established system for reporting of incidents, observations of vessels and engines. The maintenance personnel carry out daily check on vessel and equipment to ensure that they are snag free. Records are maintained to ensure that various degrees of maintenance are carried out in time. The complex has also a strategic tie-up with outhouse boat repair organizations to supplement the in-house maintenance personnel. The in-house maintenance personnel have been trained in boat and engine maintenance by N.I.W.S.
InsuranceInsurance cover is taken by the company as per government guidelines and also as per company policy.
